The client fell below the bottom of the rep range on one or more sets. The next session pulls the weight back.
Missed reps and a “way too hard” rating together mean a deload: less weight and roughly 45% less volume.
Hit every target but found it hard? Missed reps but felt easy? Conflicting signals are left for you — nothing is suggested automatically.
